Jim Risner– Civil Engineering Technician

Qualifications:

BA Film, PG Dip Teaching, Dip Engineering (Civil), MEngNZ. .

Jim joined CGW in 2022 and works alongside our Civil and Geotechnical Engineers as a Civil Technician. He lends his knowledge to civil drafting, specialising in AutoCAD and geotechnical site inspections.

Coming from a varied background, Jim has experience in IT, teaching, and filmmaking. He applies a know-how can-do attitude to everything he approaches.

In his spare time, Jim enjoys getting into the outdoors and is an avid ultimate frisbee player. He also enjoys playing a part in the Nelson Arts scene as a participant in theatre and comedy events.
