CGW Consulting Engineers is a multi-disciplinary Engineering Consultancy with offices located across New Zealand.

We’ve been successfully working with our clients to deliver projects and achieve their goals for close to four decades.

We have approx. 40 professional, technical and support staff providing multi-disciplinary capability spanning our specialty areas.

We offer civil, structural, environmental, and geotechnical engineering and our strengths are our knowledge, experience, and ability to work closely with clients on a wide range of projects. We understand our clients’ objectives and deliver projects in a timely and cost effective manner.

CGW is involved in program and project management that extends from project inception through to completion.

Our point of difference is our engineering approach to project management. Our delivery is tailored to client specific requirements. We prioritise understanding the outcomes required and tailor the solution to meet that need.

We understand the requirements of a successful project outside our core areas as well and regularly coordinate the delivery of other consultants including HVAC, Electrical, Survey and Quantity Surveyor services.

We value integrity highly and recognise that relationships are the key to success. CGW works collaboratively with clients to build trust and deliver innovative outcomes.

We understand that relationships are founded on common vision and we see ourselves as part of our clients’ team. We pride ourselves in our ability to listen to our clients and understanding their needs and their goals.

We bring our knowledge and expertise to add value, offer innovation and help deliver outcomes that give our clients a commercial advantage in their projects.

Cameron Gibson and Wells is a long standing Nelson based firm with a proven track record focused on competent leadership and management.

The early 1970’s saw Michael Worseldine and Richard Wells join together to form Worseldine and Wells, providing civil and structural consulting engineering services to the top of the South Island.

In 1994, Simon Cameron & Rod Gibson, joined the team and broadened the capability with experience in environmental and geotechnical engineering. Both were appointed Directors in 1996 with the company name changing to Cameron Gibson & Wells Limited in 1999.

Since that time Kevin McManus accepted the role as Technical Director – Geotech, in 2006. Kevin provides direction for complex geotechnical engineering solutions.

Recently, Cameron Gibson & Wells have welcomed the addition of two new directors, Rowan Puklowski (2010) and Jaden Whiunui (2011).

Each Director brings wide and varied experiences from each field of engineering that is offered and continues to be active professionally.

We are a privately owned company.
