Jack joined CGW in 2016 and is part of the Geotechnical team in Christchurch. Working under the guidance of the Senior Geotechnical Engineer, Robert Smith, Jack has been involved in a number of projects throughout the South Island including sub-developments, residential new builds, retaining wall designs and more. As the Geotechnical team in the South Island grows, Jack continually develops his knowledge and expertise in New Zealand and is looking forward to achieving a chartered engineering status in the near future.

Jack holds a degree in Geology with honours from a UK University and has over 3 years of work experience. Having moved to New Zealand in early 2016 he looks set to advance his career within the New Zealand market, is now a registered member of IPENZ and has extensive knowledge within the Canterbury region having worked on a multitude of Geotechnical projects. With the wealth of expertise and guidance available at CGW he looks forward to being involved with the company for some of the projects available in the New Year.

Jack enjoys staying active and loves what New Zealand has to offer. He has taken part in surfing, snowboarding, mountain biking, golfing, fishing (although yet to catch a fish) and enjoys his weekly games of 5-a-side football. With the arrival of his newly born nephew he now gives up a lot of his time to baby sit, much to the delight of his sister.
